Over 1.66 billion units returned
In 2025, a total of 1,661,599,025 bottles and cans were returned through the deposit system.
High return rates for cans and bottles
93.1% of all cans sold and 92.4% of all plastic bottles sold were returned.
Large quantities of material back in the cycle
14,188 tonnes of aluminium and 21,285 tonnes of plastic were returned and recycled in 2025.
