Answers to common questions about deposit collection for food service venues
Yes, as an approved collection point you are obligated to accept deposit-eligible packaging of the types you sell yourself – including from people who do not buy from you. This ensures good accessibility in the deposit system.
Equipment is normally shipped within 3–5 business days after you have registered and ordered. For larger orders or to remote areas, delivery may take a little longer. You will receive a confirmation by email when the equipment has been shipped.
Damaged or crushed packaging can still be returned for deposit, as long as it is in a condition where it can be identified (brand, size and type are visible). Collect it in deposit bags together with other empties.
It depends on your volume. A standard deposit bag takes up roughly the same space as a regular bin bag. Smaller venues may only need 1–2 bags, while larger venues may need deposit bins or more containers. We are happy to help you find the right solution.
As an approved collection point you are obligated to accept the types of packaging you sell yourself. You may refuse packaging that is not in your product portfolio, or that is so damaged it cannot be identified. You may also refuse deposits from non-customers.
